How to root Galaxy note GT n8000 10.1 inch
First thing first, here thing you need to prepare before following this tutorial.
1. Your Galaxy note GT n8000
2. PC
3. Activate "USB Debugging mode" in setting->developer option
4. Disable ativirus (if any)
5. Disable samsung app kies on your PC (if installed)
6. And most important backup your data.
Ok if all the preparation above is done, here is the tutorial. But before you begin, always remember every risk that caused by this tutorial is your own.
1. First step, install samsung usb driver so your device will be recognized when come to download mode via odin process. you can download it here and install it on your pc.
2. download the required file here.
3. after the download process is finished, extract that file and you will find these files "CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip", "HighOnAndroidCWMRecoveryGTN8000.tar", "odin3 v1.85.exe", "Odin3.ini".
4. Connect your device to PC and copy "CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip" file to your device, you could place it anywhere but i recomend you to place it on root/SDCard/ (internal storage)
5. while your device still connected to computer with usb cable, pres powes button + vol down. keep pressing these two buttons till you see warning text, remember do not release these two button untill you see warning text.
6. press volume up button to continue, you will come to download mode.
7. now go to your pc klik and run the "odin3 v1.85.exe" software. after the software is running, do not click or touch anything.
8. in odin software window, in colom number two from top with yellow color with text in it. this mean that your device is successfully detected.
9. and then in "PDA" section look for "HighOnAndroidCWMRecoveryGTN8000.tar", mak sure that this is already correct, and then click start. and the process will begin.
10. after it finished your device will be automatically restarted followed by the change of yellow color to green in odin software window on coloum number one and two.
11. after your device restarted and come in home page, the process of "ClockWorkMod Recovery" is finished. unplug yout usb cable.

and now the rooting process.
1. after your device is turned on press power button and volume up untill your device restarting when you see "samsung galaxy note 10.1" logo, release the power button but keep hold the volume up button. and your device will be on "ClockWorkMod Recovery menu"
2. after you entering the "ClockWorkMod Recovery menu" there will be a lot of menu options, you can use touchscreen to select it, but it is hightly recomended that you not touch that but use volume up and volume down instead to select the menu, and power button to enter.
3. and then choose "install zip from sd card" then choose "choose zip from sd card" and then locate your "CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip", click the power button to enter. and then you need to find or select "yes install CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip" and rooting process will begin.
4. if you cannot find install zip from sd card menu, dont panic its mean that you are entering android recovery mode, repeat the flash from odin step and uncheck "auto reboot" option.
when you finish with odin software press power button and volume up untill your device restarting when you see "samsung galaxy note 10.1" logo, release the power button but keep hold the volume up button. and your device will be on "ClockWorkMod Recovery menu"
5. after the process is finished, choose "go back and reboot system". your device will be restarted and your device is already rooted.
again, do it with your own risk.
